2、从广义上讲，旅游文本包括一切与旅游相关的文本资料，它主要具有两项功能：一是传递信息，二是施加影响、诱导行动（朱灿灿，2013：12）。换言之，旅游文本作为宣传类文本，不论是中文还是英文，都需要让潜在的游客了解旅游目的地的基本情况、相关服务和特色文化，以达到信息传递和吸引游客的目的。对于游客来说，他们希望通过阅读文本获得游览目的地的信息。但不同文化背景的游客对所提供的信息有不同的需求，这就决定了英汉旅游文本的差异 *** 。主要表现在以下两个方面。
